Edit Entry

To edit an existing entry within a topic, first list the topic entires by sending the topic name or   qt [topic] in order to get a numbered list of entries. Once you know the number of the entry you wish to edit, you can tell Sidekick   qe [topic] [topic number] {newline} [edited entry]

Let's say you noticed an incorrect homophone in one of your entries.

Books
1) The Fellowship of the Ring
2) The Too Towers
3) The Return of the King

To correct the second entry, you would send
qe Books 2
The Two Towers

Notice that the replacement text starts on its own line after the command and that you do not include line #s - those are added by Sidekick when you request a topic.

You can also use the longer version   q edit [topic] [topic number] {newline} [edited entry]
